Rezumat / Summary: In 2023 we published in the pages of The Yearbook of the Iaşi National Museum of Romanian Literature (XVI) three typewritten letters signed by the American dramatist Eugene O’Neill. The three letters, sent to the Romanian translator Petru Comarnescu, are now completed by another one, sent by the third wife of the great dramatist, Carlotta Monterey O’Neill, to the same endowed translator. Carlotta Monterey O’Neill, a talented and beautiful actress, was married to Eugene O’Neill for 24 years (1929-1953). The letter we publish includes references on the Eugene O’Neill Papers that were meant to be established at the Yale University as well as on Petru Comarnescu’s Romanian translations of some plays written by Eugene O’Neill.
